If you are an employer or responsible for managing premises, you must carry out a risk assessment to identify and control the risk of Legionella bacteria in water systems.

The Health and Safety Executive’s Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L8 – Legionnaires’ disease: Control of Legionella bacteria in water systems applies to all workplace hot and cold water systems, regardless of their size or capacity. This means the previous 300-litre exemption for smaller or domestic-style systems no longer applies.

Employers, landlords and those responsible for managing premises with water systems therefore have a legal duty to assess the risk of Legionella contamination and take appropriate steps for prevention

Useful & clear display thermometer for freezer

I bought one of these one year ago (Jan 2021) and the supplied battery is still going ok. I'm pleased with the unit, with the battery life & with the alarm function - which I use to check that my freezer is ok. The alarm function can be switched off, if you don't need it. One downside of this model is that you have to set the alarm temperature limits. I believe there there is no built in default and a setting is needed every time you replace the battery. You need the instructions to do this. So if you need the alarm function then KEEP THE INSTRUCTIONS! Overall I'm pleased with it.
