Details
Designed for the home brewer, this hydrometer will measure the specific gravity of wine and beer. The hydrometer is simply placed into the brew and will float higher in a heavy liquid and lower in a light liquid such as water or alcohol.
It will enable the fermentation process to be monitored and allow the percentage alcohol to be determined using the easy-to-read colour-zoned scale.
The hydrometer is supplied in a strong plastic tube.

As this is my first time making wine I cannot contribute too much. The wine I am attempting to make is danson. I used the hydrometer and the reading was well below the 120 reading. I'm not sure what this means, presumably, that there is a lot os sugar in the must. Any help would be use full.Rating
