Making it quicker and easier to take quick fire measurements this pocket-sized pHep from Hanna allows the user to simply dip the tester into a solution and take a reading.

Useful features include an easy read digital display, rugged and ergonomic casing and long battery life.

The protective end cap also doubles up as a measurement cup.

Ideal uses include swimming pool testing, education field trips, Koi keeping and laboratory experiments and analysis.

Hanna introduced the world’s first pocket pH meter in 1986 - revolutionising pH measurement and doing away with the need for litmus testing. Today’s pHep is the result of over two decades of continuous research and development.

~ Easy dip and read design

~ Clear display giving pH to 0.1 resolution

~ Non-clogging fibre junction increases life-span; simply pull out 1-2 mm of the junction fibre to completely renew the junction.

~ Spare electrodes and range of buffer solutions available.

We recommend that the pH testers electrodes are stored in a pH4 solution and that testers are calibrated in a pH7 solution. View Buffer Solution Satchets...

„ To calibrate, simply put the electrode (ensuring it is clean and dry) into a sachet of ph7 buffer and wait for about 30 seconds for reading to settle. Press and hold the mode button until the word "cal" appears on the screen. "7.01" will be displayed on the screen and after the display has settled, the word call will appear and you can take the meter out of the buffer.

„ You can re-seal the sachet by rolling the top over and using a "bulldog" clip. If you store this in a dry environment, away from sources of heat or cold, you can use this sachet of buffer a few more times. You may wish to recalibrate once a week or, if you use the ph meter less frequently, calibrate before each use to ensure accuracy.

„ After calibration, rinse the meter (without getting the red part wet) and shake to dry. The probe should be stored in buffer 4 solution when not in use. Always rinse the buffer 4 off before taking a reading.
