Thermometer Superstore specialise in the sale of all types of temperature monitoring equipment. This includes thermometers, dataloggers and high specification auditor and wireless equipment. In addition we also supply other measuring instruments including a range of hygrometers and moisture meters, pH meters, wind meters and light meters.

Thermometers can help provide a safer environment. An ear thermometer is useful for healthcare professionals and home users alike and will accurately measure body temperature. Using a bath thermometer will ensure that the water is at a safe temperature before getting in – especially useful for parents with young children. A hypothermia thermometer will provide a quick check that room temperatures are warm enough, without being too warm and wasting money on unnecessary heating.

An infrared thermometer is useful for measuring the surface temperatures of objects. They are non-contact instruments and an infrared thermometer has the added advantage of being extremely quick and easy to use – you only need point at the subject to be measured and push the button for an instant reading. They are available in both pocket-sized versions as well as larger “gun-style” instruments. An infrared thermometer is idea for measuring high temperature objects because of their wide measurement range and the fact that no contact is necessary.

Making sure food is properly cooked is an essential part of ensuring that it is safe to eat and Thermometer Superstore stocks a range of thermometers for measuring oven and cooking temperatures. Oven thermometers measure the oven’s air temperature and are often used to check that an oven’s thermostat is operating correctly. Oven thermometers are available in digital, spirit and dial versions. A meat thermometer is designed specifically to measure the internal temperature of the food whilst it is being cooked, to ensure any harmful bacteria within the product are killed off. The other particularly critical temperature for safe food production is during storage. High risk foods need to be kept at cold temperatures to minimise the growth of harmful (pathogenic) bacteria. A fridge thermometer is ideal for measuring cold stores, fridges, cold cabinets and other temperature controlled environments. As with the oven and cooking thermometers, fridge thermometers are available as digital, spirit and dial thermometers.

Many of our thermometers have both an internal sensor and external sensor. If the external sensor is sited outdoors (for example by passing it through a window opening) the outdoor temperature and indoor temperature can be monitored at the same time.
